Rare, hand-crafted 19th century Philadelphia Coin Silver Porringer by Bailey & Co , hand engraved "B.D. Jr. from H.D." with "1861" hand engraved on the underside of the base.
This exquisit piece measures approximately 4 1/2" in diamter at widest point, 2" in height and 7 1/2" wide including handle.
It is hallmarked for Bailey & Co, Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, the forerunner to Bailey, Banks & Biddle. Please see the picture for the fantastic hallmarks!
