A cost is associated with connecting you with your antique silver. Silver is fragile and should be treated with delicate consideration. Each item is wrapped and shipped with safe arrival in mind. Our staff is required to handle each silver item with the attention it deserves for careful and efficient shipping.
Also note that currently, we include the cost of insurance in our shipping flat rates. We hope to soon split these into two separate costs that are easily identifiable to you. However, please remember that if the shipping cost seems unusually high, it's most likely due to the value of the item in question and the insurance required for it.

Note: Some items that we offer may be too large to be shipped with a standard flat rate size box. In these cases, the shipping for such items will appear as $45, or a shipping weight of "999"; this is a temporary placeholder average price, and for any item that appears with this shipping cost, we ask that you please contact us regarding the item you wish to purchase and we will happily give you a more accurate shipping cost based on the size of the item.

Once your order is placed, each item is inspected and reviewed for any noticeable blemishes. Upon inspection, if the item meets less than our high standards our in-house silversmith then polishes and cleans the item(s). Please understand, all silver is thoroughly inspected for product quality and is guaranteed to be in excellent condition for its age. See our disclaimer/definition of estate silver.

Each item is shipped via United States Postal Service, unless otherwise noted. Our staff truly cares for each special silver item to arrive at its new home safely and securely, whether for one item or several. A minimum order size is not required, nor a processing or handling fee. Gryphon Estate Silver does its utmost to provide you with the highest quality shipping at a reasonable price.

If an email had been provided, a final electronic shipping confirmation is sent.  Shipping prices are only used to ensure your silver treasure arrives in your hands undamaged.

* Note: Please understand there are some countries to which we are unable to ship due to legal restrictions. Shipping outside of the continental United States will require additional charges due to shipping. Please contact us using our telephone number or email address above if you intend to place an order that is being shipped outside of the continental United States. If you do not contact us prior, your order will not show an accurate shipping cost, and we will have to contact you and modify the cost of the order.
Also note: Our shipping and handling charges for international orders do not include taxes, duties, or brokerage fees. These taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Privacy & Security

When you place an order with us, Gryphon Estate Silver requests information from you that is required to complete your order. Gryphon Estate Silver never sells or exchanges any of our customer information. We recognize, as business individuals and a consumer, privacy is very important to our customers. Please be assured any information shared with Gryphon Estate Silver will be held in the strictest of confidence.

Returns & Replacements

Due to the antique/estate nature of Gryphon Estate Silver items, we do not accept Returns and/or replacements for non-damaged items. If, however, your silver treasure has been damaged during the shipping process, please contact our staff immediately, 800-332-6857 or sales@gryphonestatesilver.com

Ordering

All Gryphon Estate Silver merchandise is subject to prior sale. Some items you desire may not be available when we receive your order. If some or all of the items of your order have been sold prior to receipt of your payment or are otherwise unavailable for sale, we will not charge you for items not available. In the event of a PayPal order, we will quickly issue you a full refund for those pieces you have paid for those which are not available. If there is not a sense of urgency, we will do our best to help you locate those items you which to purchase.

Some silver items may reflect slight variations in back stamp marks, weight, or size, depending on manufacturers’ changes in design, or the length of time in production.

Payments, Pricing & Promotions

Gryphon Estate Silver does not honor those prices which are the result of a typographical error or are obviously unrealistic, such as those made by computer or human error.

Our website is updated daily when orders are processed and shipped.

Layaway

As a convenience to our customers, we offer a 90 day layaway option to ensure you can secure that special item. Please contact us by phone, 800-332-6857 or email to set up your layaway – sales@gryphonesatesilver.com .

Our standard terms are 30% down with the remaining balance due in 2 equal payments over the next consecutive 2 months. Payments are conveniently auto-billed monthly to your credit card. Once your order is paid in full, we will ship it out you promptly. You may pay your layaway off early at any time you wish. PLEASE NOTE: Layaway orders which are canceled are subject to a 15% restocking fee of the original listing price. Layaway payments which are over 30 days late on payment are considered canceled.
